We had such a blasting weekend with lots of fire-works celebrating Guy Fawkes Day.
We were allowed to stay late with my boys who were completely mad about sparklers!
Then, after having a festive time, I needed to regain a peaceful time for the sake of my healthy mind & body.
So I made these pretty healthy meal that contains no fat and oil: Horse Mackerel Himono (Japanese Dried fish), Stewed vegetables, Bamboo shoot rice
They are one of the most typical Japanese food and also are very seasonal meal.
Horse Mackerel Himono (Japanese Dried fish) アジの干物
Bamboo shoot rice 筍ご飯
Stewed vegetables 煮物
Lightly pickled vegetables 野菜の浅漬け
I hope to reduce my weight which has gained whilst my Japan trip as well...(sigh)
