What a precious time, with chatting, laughing and drinking with friends.
Christmas festival on my table.
It was almost like a dream in the blink of an eye.
This year I selected the duck instead of turkey from the local butcher.
Sloe Gin, Cranberry sauce, Yorkshire Puddings and Christmas crackers.
We totally indulged in these very English Christmas.
Said grace before going bed once again.
It was the morning when I looked for the sleigh of Father Christmas in the sky.
In such a special morning, I served home made blini break fast for the family.
Home Made Garlic Blini and Smoked Salmon with Poached Egg.
The cream alongside of it was so herby that suitable for smoked flavour of salmon.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
It was the day with heavy rain in the thick sky.
I've made Ikebana (Japanese traditional art of flower arrangement) for celebrating New Year.
My mum in Japan used to make Ikebana in this festive season, and I wish my children remember these Japanese traditions.
Matched Ikebana with Japanese popular dishes.
Tonkotsu (Pork broth) Ramen.
Brased Pork Belly (Kakuni).
The sky which I happened to look up, turned into stunning face.
I wholeheartedly hope the glorious tomorrow of my dear family and friends.
On the wintery day I simmered yellowtail and muli with sweet say sauce for an hour.
There was no sound except the deep pan steaming.
The windows in the kitchen were getting to be misted.
I love this moment.
I love this hearty meal with my family's smiles in winter season.
Someone fancy them?
Every lollipops has different taste.

The day which I found the Physalis was just before Christmas.
My feeling had absolutely same taste with its sharp sweetness as I remember my childhood in Japan.
The Physalis’s season is mid-summer in Japan, but I did trip the time for a moment.
Summer festivals, Fire works, the crowd in high humidity...
Cherish the memory of the past.
What changed and what remained in me?
And what can I give to my children as our family heritage?
Thinking such a thing, I cooked Physalis in my kitchen.
Physalis coated with White Chocolate.
It was the day of the sharp sweetness.
My attempt of developing my original recipes for Japanese Supper Club "Naoko's Tokyo Dining" has been continuing.
Oh Goodness, what a splendid time in the kitchen!
With undivided attention to my senses.
Today I completed Japanese traditional sweet Jelly with agar (寒天).
How cute and crystal they are!
You know? Agar has almost non-calorie and non-fat.
Meanwhile I cooked Fried Broad Beans with garlic sesame oil.
Aromatic and rich taste.
They both made my day.
Today was such a day.
It was the day of when my great son had his 4th birthday.
I remember the day he was born was an incredibly beautiful day in my life.
Like today in a refreshing and crispy sky.
We indulged in such a festive time for once.
Deep fried Tofu.
Vegetable boat Sushi.
Hand made Chocolates.
Grilled Salmon with dill cream.
Happy Birthday my dear son.
May you seek to learn and may you learn to live.
That was absolutely fantastic time with lovely guests.
With casual chatting and sharing the stories of each other.
I'm so lucky to meet you all. Such friendly and heart-warming people!
This was the last session in this year, I wholeheartedly appreciate your great support for my work.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.
