This is authentic Japanese street food, and is hugely popular.
Absolutely delightful and hearty dish for from young to old people.
We have started a collaborating project with our partner SUSHISUSHI, and you can get all ingredients for this dish from their online shop.
I can't resist this super creamy soft boiled egg!!
And another joyful thing is this is super easy cooking as well!
Would you be intrigued this food??
Here is the recipe.
Have a look and it's definitely worth trying.
We are here for you and you can do it!
Have a lovely week, everyone!
William Merritt Chase (American, 1849–1916) who drew the oil painting, Spring Flowers, is one of my favourite artist.
And this painting is so attractive to me.
I think this figure in Kimono might be bit different from proper traditional Japanese Kimono, but I like the composition and colour balance of the picture.
So, I wanted to attempt to remake this masterpiece on a plate as my work for Impressionist Food Art series.
Hahaha, this might look odd (I don't mind if so!) as this is not exact copying, is just impressionism!
This plate is composed of Pork spring roll with sweet chilli, Galette with mushroom béchamel sauce, Carrot rapees, Soy marinated fried aubergine, Grilled mushroom and garlic cheese, Scrambled egg etc.
So that's kind of all-in plate.
Haha, I really enjoyed this work!
I'll try to make some more impressionist food art, so I hope you enjoy with me as well.
Have a lovely weekend, everybody!
I think this is one of the most simple cooking but so delicious and healthy!
This hit it big between my family.
Generally a spinach pie contains only feta cheese but my pie does halloumi, and we enjoy the flavour and various texture together, crunchy pastry, chewy halloumi and creamy spinach.
This is pretty simple cooking, so please don't hesitate to have a go.
Here is the Recipe
I hope you have a lovely week.
It's the middle of summer holiday.
A heat wave that used to please us isn't here anymore, but it's still lovely summer.
We need much energy to enjoy throughly, so I made this hearty meal which was packed lots of vitamins.
I cooked the freshest local mackerel which were caught the day before.
Carrot, onion, potato, celery, garlic and pepper...so flavourful but we don't want to miss this one more additional seasoning: homemade aioli sauce
Dropping some aioli over the stew just before serving, the flavour is dramatically changed!
Our energy charge was completed, I'm ready to work for tomorrow's pop-ups (biceps!)
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
Time flies whilst having fun family time.
We had a wonderful holiday in France, and I joined three different courses of French cookery lesson.
They were so inspirational and perfect for brushing up the latest culinary knowledges.
I made a taster platter for going over some points again in my kitchen.
Salmon Tartar, Ginger Sansho Whip, Salad Vinaigrette, Creme Brulee
I arranged the whip to Japanese flavour: added fresh ginger and Sansho pepper
Whipped egg white
And Creme Brulee which I carelessly missed to sprinkle sugar before using a blowtorch...(oops)
Our routine life has restarted already.
Let's roll up our sleeves!
I hope you have had a memorial summer as well.
Stew, stew and stew...I've made tons of stews in this summer holiday as it's absolutely vital not to make much time for cooking for my children's sake.
Stew, what a versatile dish as it's really easy to arrange the leftover to different dish for the next day.
Today we would like to share a recipe of easy cooking stew for you all.
Scottish Salmon, Leek, Garden pea and Blue Stilton Stew
You just need to chop leeks, and ideally peel the fresh garden peas.
Here is the RECIPE for this creamy hearty food.
Aw it's almost weekend, we'll be on our holiday whole next week, so we'll come back here after a few weeks.
Wishing you a wonderful summer.
August has just started though, we have started to make some recipes for traditional Japanese New Year food already.
This is a collaborating project to make a food recipe video with Umami Insider which is in N.Y.
This recipe video would be broadcasted in January 2019 (hopefully!).
Our next video is "Tori Ham (Chicken Ham)" and that will be unveiled on 8th August to the world.
I hope you have had a wonderful summer.
