Half term...it's really busy but fun week for us.
Meanwhile I made a really Japanese food for my sake; needed my own time!
It's called Fried Prawn with Yogurt Mayo Sauce (Ebi-Mayo)
This well-known dish needs just quite basic cooking skills but I added some twists to plate presentations,
This time I have attempted to explain how to make a different presentation in my recipe.
I would be glad if this would helpful for your inspirations.
Have a lovely day everyone!
Throwback to the last Bank Holiday.
Luckily I got a chance to get a sour dough bread which was made by Courtyard Deli & Kitchen (thank you so much Sarah and Chris!)
I wholeheartedly love Chris's pastries and truly I think his bread and macaron are the best in Cornwall.
Definitely it's worth visiting to Falmouth only for purchasing their amazing products.
Going back to my story, I allowed myself to be indulged with Spanish deli platter after a hard work.
Riojano wine, cheese, chorizo and Chris's bread!
Mmmm...nothing beats this treat.
If you have a chance to go to Falmouth, how about poping into Courtyard Deli and treat yourself with their specialities?
*Recipe* Yogurt Curry Marinated Chicken, Halloumi, Lentil Salad with Spicy Yogurt Tahini Dip, Spinach Soup
Happy Bank Holiday to everyone!
We're ready to start a brunch party.
My recipe of Yogurt Curry Marinated Chicken is easy peasy as I just marinated the chicken thigh with Greek yogurt, grated garlic, turmeric powder, ground coriander, whole grain cumin seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, sea salt and olive oil over night.
And grill just before serving.
Sound easy, doesn't it?
Sprinkle some chopped fresh coriander on top.
Serve Mediterranean dip, Spicy Yogurt Tahini Dip alongside.
This dip is super simple and quick recipe but so versatile; matching with lamb, chicken, salad and even just for toasted bread!
Also perfect for vegetarian.
Now I'm sharing a recipe of Spicy Yogurt Tahini Dip with you.
Here you are!
That's Mediterranean dip not Japanese though, I really enjoyed authentic taste in Greek.
I hope you like that as well.
Have a lovely time in the rest of today everyone!
This dish doesn't look like Japanese food but it's taste relates to Japanese because they are seasoned by Kelp.
Salmon, Dill, Capers and Kelp broth.
Avocado, Lime juice, Kelp powder, Fish sauce
And Kelp Jelly.
Next time, I should try to colour the jelly for more remarkable.
It's almost the end of May!
Oh my goodness, where is time gone??
Anyway have a lovely bank holiday weekend, everyone!
This is my arranged version from authentic Greek dish.
Minced lamb, Cumin, Coriander, Mint, Parsley, Garlic etc...lots of herbs and flavours
Greek yogurt, Tahini, Lime juice, Garlic, Hot Chilli Powder, Coriander etc
Have a lovely day today everyone too!
I made this pot dish remembering unforgettable flavourful taste in Greece.
It's perfectly nice dish for making an intimate atmosphere with your guests, but actually it's so easy and simple cooking!
Would you be intrigued with this rich taste?
For those who like you, I've made a recipe of this dish!
Have a look at THIS and let me know if you would try.
I would be happy more than anything.
We are blessed in such a long lasting gorgeous weather in Cornwall.
Have a lovely week, everyone.
My busy month and weeks has begun.
So I chose this versatile menu for my family as I can make massive pork slices and freeze some of them for another day.
Asian Summer Salad: Tomato, Sweet corn, Banana shallot, Coriander, Lime, Fish sauce
Grilled Potato: Potato, Garlic, Caper, Dill
Soy marinated Beetroot
My stamina has been filled up.
We're ready to go to our next popups on this Friday!
I hope you everyone have a lovely weekend.
My Tofu Pudding is seasoned with broth which was made of Lemon sole and lots of vegetables, so it's delightfully flavourful and amazingly smooth.
Luckily I got a freshest local Lemon Sole that was caught just the day before and came down from the boat to the market straightaway.
There is nothing fresh more than this.
Absolutely delicate taste and nicely firm meat, bliss!
I hope you all are having a nice week.
My Greek style Meat Sauce has a hidden flavour of Ouzo which is a dry anise-flavoured aperitif to enrich the taste.
So I experimented with Jacket Potato.
My boys absolutely loved this!
And served boiled Cornish asparagus along with light Hollandaise Sauce.
It's Friday (finally) and also Bank holiday weekend!
Wishing you wonderful long weekend, everyone.
