This is my favourite nibble recently: Sake Steamed Chicken Breast Tofu Salad Tofu is made from soybeans, contains zero cholesterol and lactose free. And also it's a low-fat source of protein, how delightful food! This is my most favourite brand of Tofu -I think this taste is the most authentic Japanese. Tofu is a soybean curd which has so subtle flavour, and it's so fragile! How to cure and season tofu? If you could gain the tips for curing tofu once, I'm sure you would be fan of this super healthy food. I'll share the recipe of this super easy healthy cooking with you tomorrow.
See you tomorrow on my blog! Naoko What a cold starting for the week! In a little bit chaotic surrounding, I tried to find a time to appear my food image on plates. That was here: Garlic Teriyaki Salmon Steak, Kelp Seasoned Vegetables, Stir-fried Udon Noodles Garlic Teriyaki Sauce Marinated salmon is extraordinary tender and succulent. Sounds like complicated for cooking by yourself??
No, it's not at all! Now I made the recipe for this Garlic Teriyaki Salmon Steak for you, have a look at HERE and check how simple to make that. I hope you all are staying safe and warm. Have a lovely week everyone! Naoko Tuna Sashimi Salad -Organic beetroot, Mushroom, Lentil and Japanese Dashi Jelly, Ponzu Dressing15/3/2018 Like a gem on the beach... This is Ponzu dressing which was made from scratch. Recipe is HERE. (You can get Yuzu juice from super store like Sainsbury's or Waitrose, if you live in the UK) By the way, I shot the same dish on a different background colour for checking how effective the colour for food shot is. How funny, what a different impression!
Right, my busy time will start from tomorrow for our collaborating event with Digey Food Room in St Ives. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and see you again on my website next week! Naoko I made this healthy dish for my husband's diet challenge sake: consuming less carbohydrate but much good high protein. All ingredients are fresh and local growing, and most of all we used only 2 tsp of oil for this dish (not fat obviously)! I have no idea about actual what made him slimmer but amazingly he has achieved to lose 4 kg in one month with my foods since he declared his diet!
What I can say about his changing was alternating salad dressing to this home-made non oil one. Recipe This dressing so versatile to use for meat, fish or steamed vegetable! I hope to hear your testing my recipes at your home! Naoko I know, I have been so frustrated by not making my recipe of this vegetarian/vegan dish. That's Vegetable Tantan (hot soup) Ramen with No Gluten Noodle. Finally I've made my original recipe and am quite chuffed! This overwhelmingly rich flavourful broth made of Japanese kelp, Shiitake (Japanese mushroom), Soy, Sake and so on. I'm so satisfied with this taste because it's absolutely authentic Japanese Tantan taste. (Actually Tantan Ramen is my most favourite in any Ramen broth) And also even these who have gluten tolerance would be able to enjoy together! I'm sure this scrumptious dish would be on the menu as an vegetarian option for my Sushi & Ramen Night in Falmouth in April.
I'm so looking forward to hosting you there! Naoko I love monkfish cheek which taste like scallop. So good protein and low fat meat. These vegetables are seasoned by Japanese Kelp Powder, Kombu-cha, so can I call this dish Japanese inspired?? I hope you had a good start for this week.
Naoko Spring is on its way in Cornwall. How uplifting! The other day, I made an exhilarating pudding like spring sunshine: Rain drop Jelly You don't need any special skills at all for making this, but I loved this unique and eye-catchy appearance. Main dish was hearty Japanese Creamy Chicken Curry which I made from scratch. My children absolutely loved this rich but so flavourful curry to be served with noodle or pasta. Roll on Spring!
