I really love this moment of cutting the fresh vegetables.
Texture, flavour and their own taste, everything!
The every moment is the gem for me.
On the day when I got the fresh fishes & vegetables, I always cook the healthy meal for my family.
Grilled Cod & Lentils and 6 vegetables' source.
I really hope you have a peaceful day tomorrow.
In such a rainy day I'm always missing the warm stew.
Japanese Pork Stew.
I have extracted bonito flavour for this soup broth, and added the flavour of pork rib and various vegetables into that.
This is my very original style for Japanese traditional stew Oden (おでん).
In the flavourful steam...bliss!
I hope you have a splendid day tomorrow.
Spring has come little by little in Cornwall.
I really love this beautiful and lively season.
In these day I found the fresh mooli at the local store.
That's quite familiar root vegetable for winter in Japan.
I stood in the kitchen as always and decided to cook the Very Japanese dish.
Simmered Mackerel in Miso Sauce (鯖の味噌煮)
Very typical Japanese family dish.
The mackerel and mooli which are simmered in Miso sauce are extremely tender and have rich flavour.
Meanwhile I cooked the pickled salad with mooli and lotus root.
Wintery vegetable combination.
I enjoyed these winter dishes with hoping spring is getting close.
I cook not the Japanese dishes sometimes.
Today's menu was Pasta with Cornish Blue Stilton and Grilled Chicken Breast.
Good way for remaking the leftover cheese.
Simple, but flavourful taste.
That's ideal for quick family dinner.
I have spent time to make fun with my friends and children in this half term.
What a lovely & memorial time.
The sky when I happened to look up was breathtaking.
I found spring is getting close here.
After the exciting time, I stood in the kitchen for our dinner as always.
Soba with Prawn Tempura.
This is Japanese style, Soba alongside of lots of herbs.
Chopped spring onions, grated ginger and crashed sesame.
Do you know that we Japanese enjoy the hot water which boiled Soba as well?
It's called Soba Yu (It literally means Hot water for boiling Soba).
That's subtle but very healthy and addictive actually.
It's almost the end of February from next week.
Under such a beautiful morning sky
I had a nanny day of boys.
Like a busy day, I definitely cook noodles.
Today's dish is
Seafood Asian Fried Noodle.
Hot Noodle and melting yolk...Bliss!
Thanks goodness, I hope you have a lovely tomorrow too.
The Sunny Muddy First day of the half term.
I was hectic with hungry boys as always.
I grabbed the Cornish mackerel from the fridge and quickly cooked the dinner for them.
Cornish Mackerel with Coconuts Curry Sauce.
And Courgette soup based on Japanese broth.
Healthy and Energetic food.
Hope to be a sunny Half Term for all children.
That was the very moment of today's sky of Truro.
I stood in the kitchen as always.
Especially for my husband who are just getting be better from nasty cold.
-Quick Miso Ramen with pork balls
-Fried Pork Gyoza (Dumpling)
-Steamed Pork Gyoza
-Steamed Vegetable and Seaweed with Ponzu (Japanese Citrus juice & Soy sauce)
Did you know that? In Japan, the Valentine's day is the day for only women to confide their love to their lovers. (I can't understand such an unbalanced rules actually)
Anyway, thankfully we didn't mind such narrow things and could spend the time altogether today.
I really hope you have had a lovely Valentine's day.
Its hearty colours made me imagine spring is nearly here (Of course that's just in my brain)
Wishing your relaxing tomorrow.
It has been an epic day of chasing skies in Truro.
I completed simmering the pork Ramen broth.
This is MY taste, actually I have simmered some pork parts for 7 days (almost 40 hours) in my kitchen as always.
Pork Ramen and Savoury Pancake (Okonomiyaki)
I really love to cook such real Japanese Street Foods from scratch.
Because that is my own taste.
Goodness me, this moment is the best treat for myself.
